The sectional door principle
The principle behind it is as ingenious as it is simple: the sectional garage door consists of individual elements, known as sections, which are connected to each other by hinges. This makes it easy to slide vertically under the ceiling without the need for additional pivoting space in front of the garage.
More space in front of the garage
As the sectional garage door - unlike the up-and-over door - does not swing out, you can use every last centimetre of the space in front of the garage, for example for parking a second car. Even the flow of traffic is not impaired in any way if the garage is close to a road or footpath.
Premium door with thermal break
Novoferm sectional garage doors in the 45 mm version have a 45 mm thick insulating hard foam core for particularly high thermal insulation. It has up to 17% better insulation* compared to doors in a similar series (only from Novoferm).
